About the Project
The USG Alumni Entrepreneurship Project aims to empower and connect entrepreneurs in Armenia, support entrepreneurial education, as well as the exchange of experience between USG Alumni and the general Armenian public. Within the scope of the project ''entrepreneurial'' activity is defined as one that creates value for others, be it economic, social, or cultural.
The Community of Practice and Start-up Mentorship component of the Project will bring together 18 start-ups and 18 USG mentors to form a Community of Practice. This community will facilitate the collective utilization of their skills, networks, and experience to advance their ventures and share expertise. The participants (18 representatives from start-ups and the corresponding 18 USG alumni mentors selected for the start-ups) will engage in a two-day training in September 2023, focused on start-up growth, team building, and creating communities of practice conducted by an entrepreneurship education professional invited from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, NE, U.S.A. After the training, the Community of Practice members will collaborate for six months.
The USG Alumni Entrepreneurship Project is funded by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and administered by the American Councils for International Education in Armenia.
